k9leads Report post Posted January 4, 2012 Hi All, I wish to make Dog leads from Biothane. I will require the machine to sew 1/2" thick of biothene (around 8 stitches per inch). Would anyone be able to tell me what machines (for a beginner) would be suitable.. i was thinking of the Tippmann Boss. Does anyone have any experience with sewing biothene. I have had a few machines that can sew perfectly through 1/2" thick leather but cannot do biothene. I am now looking to buy a machine dedicated to sewing biothene leads and horse tack.
