make a link "clickable"

Recommended Posts

Need some help,

I just added a reply to a post.

I added a web site for the person to check out.

How do you make it so they can just click on it, to go to the site?

I've seen it on our site, but when I did it ,came up just like the rest of the print.

Please help,

Peter I. craftsman827

you can either put in front of the address and after the address...or highlight the address in the post (while you're typing it or editing the one you made) and click the green button with the plus sign (next to the underline button) in the post window...OR you can click that button (before typing the address) and a window will pop up where you can type out an address

If you type:

www.leatherworker.net it won't be "clickable". but http://leatherworker.net will be.

With the link button, the code looks like this:

url=http://www.leatherworker.net]these words show![/url

I left off the outer brackets so you could see it.

The easiest way is to cut and paste, and use the link button like the Monkey said.

Let us know if this causes more questions!
