What To Do If Not Able To Finish Carving In A Day

Recommended Posts

Hi,

If you are doing a "larger" carving , like a picture ,and won't be able to finish it off for a couple of weeks or so, what would you do with the cased leather ??

Thanks

Greg

You could seal it in a plastic bag and put in the fridge or cover in cling wrap if it is really big and just leave it on your bench.

Thanks for the tip. Most of my pieces take longer than one working & I usually wind up rewetting, but don't like to do this too much. Will try the fridge.

I am just beginning to get serious about "business", been selling custom pieces for a while "on the side". Time has been devoted to the cattle & horses & am now trying to "retire" from the 24/7 life. The business & organizational threads are very helpful.
