I am getting fed up with hand stitching and am ready to buy a sewing machine. I have no clue what I am looking at when it comes to them. I wasn't really wanting to spend over $500, but it's looking like i may have to. There are older brother and singer machines on ebay with pictures of them sewing leather four quarters high for around $300, but I don't know if they are reliable machines.
