how do you make the leather helmet,are there plans for a basic helmet so i can buid on it,seeing this has inspired me to have a go.

awesome work.

I make my own patterns from scratch and they can vary quite a lot from one helm to the next. You do need to have a pattern for symmetry of course but there is no one design that is 'correct' even among 'basic' styles. My advice - You should either experiment until something works or look for historical patterns of metal armor helms and imagine how to adapt those to leather, assuming leather is your fancy. The armourarchive is a good reference. (google it)
