Interesting blade , what sort of knife is that?

I like the simple design, is the leather moulded at the handle end?

You coulD work on your stitching. What sort of awl are you using and what sort of stitch. Check out some of dangerous beanz video tutorials on stitching they are awesome !

Its an Elk Ridge survival type blade. I'm not using awl for my stitching holes, its a saddle stitch. I wet formed the leather to the handle so that it technically could be hung upside down without the blade slipping from the sheath. Its a nice tight fit.

Yes the young man I built this for is a fan of Halo.

beautiful work. i dont see a stitching problem, actually i like the white thread with the black dye. good job, hope i am this good someday.
