Haven't had any trouble with the cuff,i doubled it just to make sure.The tri bolt idea seemed a bit ugly with nuts on the bolt showing on the out side. I'd be interested to see any of your celtic knotwork. I wouldn't know really just how much it can take.but the fattest member of our family sits on it and there is no problem. Thanks

Hi, This is a three legged stool i made,and my first attempt at carving a pattern in leather. The legs are made from chestnut staves.I've found it a practical item too,for camping or around the house. Andy
