I am seeking advice on a new solo saddle I have. It's a Corbin-Gentry saddle that will go on my 57 Harley Sportster. The leather is soft (thin?) and completely matte.
If I wanted to make the seat look older, i.e. glossy, and more period correct, what finish can I apply to it? High gloss would look nice I think but I don't want to slide off the seat either!
Can I just apply an Acrylic Resolene to this new leather and be done with it? I don't care if it stiffens up, I would actually prefer that does just that. I also don't care if it wears prematurely.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
