    i am using a water soaking method to make leather stronger and playable to make armor. What i want to know is how to start it and any other useful pointers. I am building a roman style (vest and shoulder sections) kind of armor.

    hi i am a beginner at making armor, i am considering different techniques on how to harden leather to make armor. the first is take latino leather and sprits it with water to mold it, the other method is take vegetable tanned and immerse it in water take it out and put it in 180 degree water then mold it. I need some advice of which one or any other suggestions.
