Finishing english bridle belt blanks

Recommended Posts

What is the best way to finish? Resoline?

Can I re-dye for a different color?

Should I use deglazer before applying the resoline?

If I stamp or emboss, do I deglaze then stamp or emboss?

When I really screw it up can I deglaze, re-dye the color and start over on the finish?

I've never used pre-dyed bridle belt blanks until now, I thought it would speed up my process and I'm sure it will, however, I've done all the wrong things so I need the experts to advise me.

Thanks so much from an old rookie.
