  1. Hi everyone. I am really new at this. I finished a kit from Tandy and am taking a class but not until January. I wanted to keep practicing so I made my daughter a bracelet but the stain rubbed off on her wrist. I was hoping that someone can tell me what i did wrong. I put the stain on and then the super shene the next day. I did stain and sheen both sides. Did I do something wrong? Did I miss a step? Any help would be really appreciated. I posted in How do I do that but have not gotten any replys yet. I just want to keep practicing until I can take a class and learn more. Thanks again for any help.
  2. Hi everyone. I am completely new at this but love it. I love all the great information here. Everyone seems very helpful. I bought a kit from Tandy and finished all of it. I am going to take a class but can't until after the new year. I wanted to keep practicing until then but I have a lot of questions. I made my daughter a bracelet. I stained it with Eco-Flo high lite color stain. I did not get back to it until the next day and I put Eco-Flo Super Shene on it. Now I stained both sides of the leather and also shene both sides. It dried for a good day before my daughter put it on. It turned her wrist the color of the stain. What did I do wrong? Is there a step that I am missing? I just followed what it said to do on the Tandy DVD for the other products. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, BlueRaven
