RavenAus Report post Posted June 26, 2014 I posted the part-finished mask already in Tom Banwells thread and said I'd start a new one when I got it finished and here we are. Lessons learnt - the pattern pieces don't line up exactly, especially on the brow. 2.5mm veg is just a tad thick to bend around the stitching, again especially on the brow Cut the nostrils BEFORE you stitch the nose together, dummy! People ask me why it takes me so long to get started.... it's because i try to think of everything and write out a process plan BEFORE I cut leather. The mask turned out very nice. I'm trying to work on the muzzle as a friend wants a dog mask like this but closer to a Labrador or Husky (they have 1 of each) but so far the results have been terrible Would you have any hints?
