I'm in Lööööööve :-)

Recommended Posts

I had a little package showing up today...And I've been busy ever since:-)

"Bearman" here on LW made me a maul, 9oz in weight, with Mahogany, curly Maple and curly Walnut (if I got it right). The tool is an absolute beaty both to look at and to use and 9oz fits most of my type of carving like a glove in my hand. Ontop he made a stand to it. All I can do Bearman... :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy: And a Huge Thank You for the nicest maul/mallet I have seen.

This tool will go on my trofe shelf (and yes, it will be used every day) For some reason it's always more fun using beautiful and practical tools :banana::banana:

Oh yes BigSis, that is a maul to fall in löööööööööve with ha ha!!! It is beautiful!

I have never understood why it is common practice to have the tooling maul in a cylindrical shape. I've never tried one but it seem a bit awkward for me because I'm so used to my old regular woodenclub.

Yeah I definetly need to try and probably get another MUST HAVE on my allready long list of MUST HAVES ha ha

It'll be great to just sit down for the first time in my life with another leathercrafter and make some small works or sumting.

Good night BigSis!!

Beauty and function. It just doesn't get any better. You can tell that it was made with care and the love of fine craftsmanship. I too have never used a round maul but after seeing that, well I think it will have to go on the top of my list of "must haves".
