Hi there! Just wanted to say hello from Saginaw, MI, and introduce myself! I was looking to get into leatherworking so that I could start making crafts indoors so that I could sell them and maybe even make some stuff that are one-offs! I love doing all kinds of crafts, airbrushing, etching, and I thought leatherworking looked very intriguing! Looks like even someone like me can get into it! Any help you can give this very new noobie, I would very much appreciate! To start, I ordered and got the Deluxe Leather kit from Tandy, so I'm looking over all the tools and things involved. Anyone else here from Michigan? Can't wait to learn and start!! Oh I should mention eventually what I want to work on...I really like making vests (motorcycle cut vests), purses, gun holsters, guitar cases, guitar straps, and whatever else I can think of..LOL) Time to start small and work my way up!!
