Jordan Report post Posted October 12, 2008 (edited) Well here it is finally finished and ready for delivery. Holster took 3 tries to get it right but the belt went together on the 1st try. It was alot of fun to make. It is 8/9wt and the liner is 3/4wt or thereabouts. Finish is hand rubbed Olive oil which was not quite dry when I took the photo so I will probably need to touch it up in the morning. the entire set was hand sewn with tejas white waxed thread. I started with W. Ghormley patterns which I modified somewhat, He does some great work with patterns and leather. The belt has 12 cartridge loops and the holster is formed to a Ruger 44mag Redhawk. Jordan Report post Posted October 13, 2008 Thank you all for the kind words, the customer will be picking it up today and I believe he will be pleased that he will be able to wear it next week during the deer hunt. I suspect I may get some word of mouth orders but my price is definitely going up.
