  1. Yup. If there are choices, take the other one.
  2. I do projects that are both leather and material. KAMsnaps seems to be the quality product for bagmakers. I’ve heard fans of the Buckleguy. For those that have used both companies/presses what did you like or dislike? Range of application?
  3. Interesting. Thank you. That would be cool if true. I'll ask.
  4. Hardrada and others, good job with the assistance. I can't even begin to count the number of times that people make a newbie suffer for the sin of not knowing and asking. By simply saying "buy good tools" often you are speaking Greek, as a true newbie couldn't possibly know what that is without an example. I'm going through this with the watching kidding groups. Don't be like them. Don't be knowledgeable and worthless.
  5. Wow. That was great to read. You all are very knowledgeable.
  6. Keystones is a good crew. I drove from Va to Their store for machine service. They did it while I got lunch. Highly recommend.
  7. Rleather. Thank you. They told me today that it is slightly different. Made foreign, as is Weavers. Too bad they don't have one that is line the 8 ton. Really what I'm after. Both Weaver and SLC are out of stock.
  8. So, I have been casually in the market for at least an 8 ton press for a while. Weaver is out of stock and has been. The 4 ton press from Springfield looks amazingly like the 4 ton from Weaver? Differences? I am looking for other companies that have presses in stock and experiences with quality and service? Thank you. Does Weaver even make there own clicker presses?
  9. So, how did this GO? I was looking for similar handful of tools. I am in No. Va.
  10. How is this sale going? Sold?
  11. I am interested. Where are you located?
  12. I will make the wild assumption that this old post is no longer available. A dead link? Done and the information is gone? Just providing closure perhaps.
  13. cltech9, interesting. I'm a Barge fan, but shipping is a pain. Youd think it was symtex or something with all the restrictions.
