I think so too! And, I did find a leak in the hose coming from the foot pedal. I'm going to fix that tomorrow.

Yes, I did get a manual. I have oiled it, just haven't been able to run it after. I couldn't remove the oil plug on the foot pedal, Tom said to just add oil at the air hook up port. I paid $1200. That was with stand, flatbed attachment, material guide attachment, all the presser feet, extra bobbins and needles and couple dozen spools of thread.

I haven't used it at all, just got it this summer. The guy I bought it from hadn't used it in a few years. My next step will be to follow each tube, I'm just not excited about disconnecting too much internally!

When its hooked up to compressor,the presser foot pedal works fine. The stitch pedal will cycle once and then stop. I could feel air leaking on the front out of the needle bar return cylinder, so I replaced it. Now, after the compressor is filled and kicked off I can hear air somewhere around the main cylinder or the main valve plate on the inside. I'm assuming this shouldn't be happening? After the initial cycle, I have to flip the needle down switch, so I can manually raise the needle with the front lever. So, an air flow issue is really just my best guess. They are very helpful-pretty sure its me! I think that Tom is the Aerostitch guru at Tippmann.

I've talked with Tom Black at Tippmann a couple of times, and he's been very helpful. My limited knowledge of the pneumatic system is the problem getting it diagnosed over the phone. I know the problem is with the air flow. I was really trying to avoid having to ship it back to Tippmann. When I've called, I've always been directed to Tom, never a Jim. I'll call them back and talk with Jim and see what happens. Thanks so much!

I just purchased an aerostitch and ordered a new filter for the foot pedal. Can someone tell me which side you attach to the pedal vs which side the air supply hooks up too? Comparing the pic in the manual to the filter I removed ,I'm thinking it was on backwards.
