  1. the outside is obviously crocodile. the inside was the underbelly. the underbelly area is REALLY discolored and dark now i'm hoping this won't be so expensive also that it wouldnt just be easier to buy a new one as i mentioned this has some sentimental value as well.
  2. good morning, thanks for the reply. I used the same stuff i used on my nappa leather car seats, its called leatherique rejuvinator oil. after a few treatments, the feel improved but it is no where close to its original soft yet smooth and glossy feel.like you said, I would like to have the original coloring and feel restored as best as possible. it is actually crocodile not alligator. the link below is the closest style that still exists. mine is a little different but is (was) black. http://www.coach.com/online/handbags/Product-exotic_slim_card_case-10551-10051-74265-en?cs=blk
  3. Hi, I have a coach alligator wallet that i accidentally had on me when I was in the ocean for about an hour. the finish of the wallet is basically ruined. I oiled it and it still feels really nice but the dye or whatever has faded and it looks awful. does anyone have experience restoring "exotic" hides? it has some sentimental value and I would really like to know if its salvageable. if qualified, i would really like to go forward with getting this fixed.
