Whipping Twine For Hand Sewing ?

Been searching the forums for threads Linen and Polyester i found this stuff recommended on another forum but i haven't a clue if it would meet the requirements for sewing leather it comes in 0.8mm and in a few colours this a UK website so i don't know if there is an equivalent in the USA.

.8 is heavy almost like string but I have stitched with it.

That whipping twine for rope is on the heavy side.

Most standard stitching thread will be between .5 and .7mm.

If the project is large enough you can use it but it's a little overkill for the smaller pieces.

That is most likely .8mm

I figure .8mm is very close to 554/T600 or 8 cord. 1mm= .03937x.8mm=.0314. My chart said 554 = .0326
