leather suspenders

Recommended Posts

Here is a pair of suspenders that I just finished last night. I worked up this pattern so that any hardware that might scratch a chair or snag on something was not going to be a problem. :whatdoyouthink: I took a few pictures and I hope that you can see how they hook to the belt loops.

Thanks for looking.

Mark

Great idea! I don't think I would have thought to make them that way. Good work.

I really like the tooling, it's very effective and looks like it has great detail.

Did you use two tools to achieve that effect?

Great Job!! I've been wearing suspenders from the Duluth Trading Co. for years now and never thought of making a pair of leather....imagination went with age I guess......but now I just might have try to put something like that together. Since all my trousers have Dulith's big buttons (like Levi's) I'd have to make them with a different attachment but its one great idea AND execution. Thanks. Mike

Laroc

I used one block stamp and one border stamp on these. It is an old McMillin tool pattern that I had Ellis Barnes make smaller for smaller items. Here is a picture of the original stamp.

Thanks
