  1. Thanks for your replies. Cowhide, that checkbook cover looks great! I think I need to get some scraps and do a few trial runs. Hopefully they turn out as nice as yours did.
  2. Hi all, I am wanting to color a few things but I am new to using the dyes and am not very good at it. I am wondering if anybody has had any luck using colored sharpie markers. I'm thinking the color should penetrate the leather but not sure how it would hold up and if it smears when applying something like super sheen. Thanks, Nick
  3. Wall art piece

Wall hanging piece i made for a friend
  4. Hi all, I'm working on making a set of these place mats and I am new to using finishes and sealants. I know i probably wont be able to get them completely waterproof but I would at least make them resistant to dropped food and minor spills. I've read thru some of the posts in here and I'm considering using Fiebings Resolene, but I would greatly appreciate your expert opinions. Thanks, Nick
  5. A Small Collection

I like the baseballs you made, I have been wanting to try one but wasn't sure how the stitching would turn out, but yours looks great, was it as easy as it looks
