I bought 2 of these green sides . Spanish brown pro dye works on this stuff. It's now some sort of brown, I put a lot on it and wiped it off. It's good enough for me

I like the green, I'm making a heavy pack for hunting and some western stile concho belts.

I'm new here and haven't posted much, but would like to thank Mike for the beautiful leather and great offer!  I received my order today and I couldn't have asked for better.  It's a steal for $2 a foot.

Thanks again!

Crystal

Anyone that is interested in dying this leather, it dyes pretty well.  I did some quick samples yesterday morning.  I used the regular Fiebing's dye.  From left to right: Medium Brown, Dark Brown, British Tan, Mahogany, Neatsfoot oil.

That turned out really well, did you do any prep to the leather before applying the dye?

I'll take a side, please! Just got my new sewing machine, and that stuff would make nice bags!

They seem to be on the smaller side of things so something like 18-23 more or less.

No prep, just cut the piece and dyed the leather.

So, does it need to be finished?

I don't think so. It is made for boots. Should be good to go.
