The photo makes it look like a bead or something - I guess acrylic was the wrong choice of words since that's a paint too

Ya because the seeder gives it a bevel and is very smooth, it looks like a gem kind of a thing, but it will dull down with use. Picking up dirt from the hands. Good question! I think the lighting was hitting it just right in the photo as well.
