Sleeve length preview

the side with "fitted" sleeve looks worlds better than the original side. However, the original side didn't look as bad when I was using it. This photo was taken without the liner and a couple of layer of clothing, usually I wore it with a sweater.

This looks like you've made a great start on altering this leather jacket. Alterations are a pain in the rear! Hope you post some more photos as you progress. Good luck!

Hey Thanks! I had to delay this project until I get my hands on a sewing machine or one of those forks for leather stitching. Even banged up used forks cost a pretty penny. It stinks because I know I could finish this in a day or two or three with the proper tools. With just my hands, it would take me a long while and my fingers would get chewed up pushing the needle through new holes I have to make. I'll post pics once I start up again.

Take care!

Do you sew much? Invest in a thimble, and you'll really save your fingers. I can't hand sew anything without a thimble! Our proffesor

in college insisted on it, and it's agood habit to acquire. :-)
