  1. thank you very much for the info! I was wondering what that hump was for and which I had an example to look at before I put everything together. I almost want to take this apart and redo it.
  2. Ok just finished my second knife case and here it is. The casing was a little easier this time but my clip turned out a little lose. I was wondering when doing somthing like this which order do I go? I did in the following steps but I couldn't get any dye under the clip 1. mold 2. attached buttong and clip 3. stich 4. dye and applied sealer
  3. Here is my first knife case with out a pattern and the first time doing leather molding. The stitching is a little off but it turned out better than I thought it would. If the leather was tooled before the molding would it be lost in the processes?
  4. I'm open to both stamping or carving but have a limited amount of stamps. I'm willing to go out and buy the stamps if I was given the stamp number in which the design was made. The bible is a small 4x3 bible.
  5. I have been lurking around looking at everybodies work and it all looks great. I have been working with leather off and on for about two years. I'm finally got past the kits and made my first seat last month which turn out great. At the moment my project is a bible cover for my son's first Communion in which I need some idea for a nice border for it. If you have have any suggestion for on please post me a picture and what tools you used to make it. Thanks
