I want to mary my glass work with my leather work. I am excited to see that it can be done and it looks really nice amd professional.
How do yo keep the turquoise in the braclet? Just glue?
It is done with contact cement. First you trace your stone onto your leather and reduce it by about 3/16 to 1/4 and you apply your contact cement to your stone, then center your stone and set it. Then you cut out the piece that
you reduced and apply contact cement to both pieces and attach, carefully keeping everything centered. Using a rounded edgeing tool, you mold and form the leather around the stone. The smaller hole and glue will lock in
the stone. Have fun and please show me your results **** gambo007@yahoo.com******
