Evidently my website, debrasleatherfloral.com, is getting quite a bit of traffic, which I'm thankful for. I was contacted by the University of Tennessee Martin about their upcoming Rodeo/Auction. They asked if I would be willing to make something to donate to the auction. The proceeds go to scholarships. Well, I was very honored that they like my work well enough to ask me to donate something. I am attaching what we came up with. My husband did the vase and I did the roses. I was pretty happy with it.

That's great Serena for those wanting to learn how to make them. My nearest Tandy store is 5 hours away so I'm not in there very often. Thanks for letting people know.

Actually, I started making paper flowers and then thought I would try it with leather and did a little research of some other flowers, made my own designs and templates and just started working with it. I learn new stuff all the time and add different touches. Thanks for the compliment.

Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment! I actually started by playing with paper roses and looked around the internet at different roses. I cut out a pattern and put one together and it's grown from there. I really enjoy making them and I have been fortunate that a lot of people like them and buy them from me.
