  1. I guess a better titan would have been safety toe instead of steel toe. My client does heavy combat in the SCA so he does not need more than the standard safety toe covers, but does require it to look like a sime medieval leather boot. I'm thinking of making a pair for myself first and using an old boots steel toe but if this works out and I have a demand, I want to make more.
  2. Anyone know where i can buy steel toe or composite toes? Ive been asked to make a Medieval stype boot that includes a safety toe of some sort. I found chinese companies that will sell me 10,000-100,000 units. Im looking for less. I want traditional steel toe or composite toe, not the toe caps that go over the tip of the boot.
  3. I like the idea of adding goat skin. Any suggestions on finish coating that would work?
  4. I started making archery arm guards, Tandy's Antique Gel for color and finished with my own beeswax based recipe. This wax mix has worked great for everything i have done. A friend was wearing an arm guard he ordered from me, and due to heat and sweat, stain started rubbing off on the part against his skin. What can i finish the backside (part that touches the arm) to prevent the color from running? I think i still want to use my wax mix on the front, but the backside needs something durable.
