having trouble with Techsew 2750 prothat I have been using for years with 2 layers of calfskin glued with Masters 18 needle,69 thread top and bottom
went through the drill of getting tension correct and when I sew seen in the picture the top stitch looks fine but when I go in the vertical direction in the picture the knots are consistenly showing on the bottom
when I go horizontal in the picture seen here top and bottom tension are fine
HELP?? not sure what else to do here I have re threaded, changed needles, tension spring is fine etc everything I know to do..
thank you for any help here
(Techsew customer support is now by email only and they did not help me like they used to)
Greg
bottom is on left and top stitch is on right

Thank you for all of the work and hand sewing would work great that way. These are done on a roller foot sewing machine with no hand sewing. I think some of the sewing is done before the “flap” near the watch is put down and sewn in.

Yes it is a puzzle. That is the way I thought to do it but I hope someone has another idea also!
thank you

use an edge creaser and put a dot with your awl at the tip...4 stitches before getting to the point start planning...change stitch lengths appropriately
like anything it will take some time to get this down
usually finishing at the lugs in the same place is harder..I use the same method

heat burnishing, sanding and edge paint...repeat repeat

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Where can I get a large thread cone rack to store 40 or so cones of thread. All the ones I have seen seem to be for small spools of thread.
Thank you

I have a techsew 2750 pro and if you cement the edges you will not have this problem...
double sided tape...tried it did not work..
I got real good at gluing with Masters cement after awhile and it dries fast ...no waiting to sew
good luck

call Ron at Techsew..techsew.com

I have both from Techsew and they are both great machines...but of course Ron is correct the feeding for your purposes will be better with a walking foot..
I have the 2750PRO and for my money it is the most versatile for my uses. Get a speed reducer you will not be sorry..just my humble opinion
Remember "buy the seller"..and the follow up support from Techsew is fantastic!
Good Luck

I have found that polyester hangs up quite a bit more in the machine..so problematic for me I barely use it..
just my 2 cents.

have 2 techsew machines..awesome5580RF and awesomer 2750pro...Ron and Mike will take care of you with customer service
BUY THE SELLER!!!
good luck

use masters all purpose cement and a good hair brush...it dries fast and is perfect for watch straps
get a good container for it and buy the thinner..you will need it
