  1. having trouble with Techsew 2750 prothat I have been using for years with 2 layers of calfskin glued with Masters 18 needle,69 thread top and bottom

    went through the drill of getting tension correct and when I sew seen in the picture the top stitch looks fine but when I go in the vertical direction in the picture the knots are consistenly showing on the bottom

    when I go horizontal in the picture seen here top and bottom tension are fine

    HELP?? not sure what else to do here I have re threaded, changed needles, tension spring is fine etc everything I know to do..

  3. great first day with the Cobra Class 14 skiver...did veg tan thick and thin...and did Chromexcel without any issue..

    Key is sharp blade of course...and take off relatively little at a time..

    consistent end product..really happy about the machine

    made a belt and a thin wallet and it was fantastic

  4. I have both from Techsew and they are both great machines...but of course Ron is correct the feeding for your purposes will be better with a walking foot..

    I have the 2750PRO and for my money it is the most versatile for my uses. Get a speed reducer you will not be sorry..just my humble opinion

    Remember "buy the seller"..and the follow up support from Techsew is fantastic!
