For Sale - Lightly Used and in Great Shape - Tormek 2000 Wet Grinder. This is the ultimate wet grinder for blades of all types. This is also posted on Craigslist. This is the heavy #30+ machine. Its new eplacement goes for around $700 for the machine alone and jigs and fixtures push it up from there. Was purchased new from Highland Hardware when I thought I would be doing a lot of turning. "Turns out" I never did. It has been sitting in a climate controlled shop seeing almost no use aside from some initial "playing" around when first purchased. Package includes (not sure of the names) a carbide truing tool, tool rest, gouge jig, flat tool jig, blade jig, truing stone and book. Stone is in great shape and trued maybe 2 or three times at the most. Asking $325 OBO + shipping. I will have to get a quote on that since this is fairly heavy. I will accept PayPal. I don't think anyone has made new heel shaves in 80 years. You can buy new spokeshaves, Travishers and such. Different animal though. To answer your question, no. Just new to me. PM me if you are interested.

Not sure of the radius. These are used for shaping the ground seat. The handles don't remove. It was cut off so you can get to the tight areas around the cantle ears and base of the ground seat where it joins the cantle. Bob Douglas sells them on the she rid an leather site for $120 each. That's what I paid. Helluva deal.
