  1. not going very fast but winters here
  2. after i get the one end peened to as large as i want about 1/2 inch , got a ways to go. as for the cane tip i'll go with a cane rubber tip over the peened end. want it to grip not slide around. the antique one i found is just the peened end. just want to protect the floor. i've thought i'd chuck it up in a lathe to sand it down , but thought better of it for cheating. want it all by hand the old one i have is probably rusted and that's why its so flexible .i've been kicking this around for years and thought it was time.
  3. i've started peening and i have some 14oz skirting get it wet and start punching holes
  4. i picked up at auction few years back , a leather cane. its way to flexible to be useful . i thought of making one so i got a pc. of steel rod 3/8 dia. and so long. i'm in the process of peening the one end to about the size of a washer. then i'll drop the washer down the shaft ,flatten it some and start punching circles withe a 3/8 inch hole. glue all those layers together and a washer and peen that. then i'll try and find a belt sander to shape this thing. has any one ever tried this???????????????????????????

  6. have been wondering if anyone has tried making a phone holster to carry on your belt? something that you can drop the phone in and make it easy to remove. also should be deep enough so you don't lose it. my thoughts are ,is there a generic size that should work with most phones . i'm thinking smart phones rather than flip type

i had a new timing belt replaced ,old one had a chunk missing. and since it sat for a time had it gone through and oiled and adjusted. it will come with a clutch motor an table w/ bobbin winder and a light and also a after market thread tree. i've set this up to sew 138 thread and it does a great job. should sew chaps and wallets till the cows com home.only reason i'm selling is i've had to move a don't have the room. so if you have the money or you think you have something you think i need let me know. asking $500.00 and i could use a few french end driver punches or a portable machine that will sew canvas weight. i'm located in central iowa and might meet you half way. this is all contingent on where your at. the machine head is in side and the table is in storage like i need to say what it is singer 111w155 compound feed no reverse
