  2. It won't let me PM so here is what I wrote I'm looking for something along the lines of the black one with brass cart buckle and brass bit keepers I can ad all the conchos would like a little shell border all the way around made with heavy leather slit ear. I ride around 17 -20 horses a month all different sizes. If your not going up charge me a bunch on the conchos you can finish it out . I want brass spots all the way around in a russet leather. Look I'm being straight with you I am a full time buckaroo and do saddles on the side. Very much on the side. We are calving like crazy and some one stole my gear and I'm in a hurry to replace it as I hate borrowing from others or using Weaver garbage. I need a price and if you're to proud of it I'm just not in a position to pay a bunch. Please let me know a price and when you could have it done thank you
  3. I think you do great work. Unfortunately We don't use browband or sliding ear headatalls.
  4. Hey man!!!! Thank you so much!!!im working on this thing between pulling 17 hour days and the fella is getting a little frustrated waiting .
  5. Yes sir that's exactly what I thought. It is stitched with a tipmann boss. What would the cost be to have it fixed up. Guys I am a maker but I am going nine O right now as a full time cowboy ( full time 17 hour days living on the ground) let me know I sure appreciate it
  6. Well ok guys this hand makes damned fine leggings best out their beside Salanos in Raton he was just trying to do what I asked.
  7. No no I'm looking for your average everyday Chicago screw the inch size is the diameter of the conch bud, any chance you have a lead
  8. I am looking for a wide scolloped SLIT ear cowboy headstall. With brass spots and brass conchos. No browband no arena garbage I am a working buckaroo needs to have either handmade buckle with allot of brass and copper or I'm more that fine with a brass cart buckle. Border stamping in Shell with small brass spots . Let me know please
  9. Did contact the maker yes sir he put febings dark brown and rubbed until it was the color he believed I wanted. The color is a bit streaky but lost all depth. I would post pictures but for one he really is a hand and I wouldn't want him being criticized beat chaps I've ever owned and I go through two pair a year sometimes. The cut is perfect but it's just that dye that takes away from if.
  10. So I just had a really fine set of leggings made and truly am happy with them. So I won't be saying where I got them from. I asked that the top yokes be darkened( I was thinking use an antique dye to fill in the depths etc) unfortunately. I looks as if maybe the maker used a dark brown (maybe) a cream dye and the beautiful carving looks very flat. Is there any way to clean this all up and redo it? I was thinking acetone but I'm not really sure it's going to work. It doesn't appear to be heated except by contact rubbing any info would be great!
