  1. @maggieljThe "Special Edition" was another sellers idea & he sold them for $500.00 more(the pin striper charged $350.00), I never sold them I didn't feel it was worth it since it'll probably rub off in use, most of my customers don't want to spend no more than they have to.
  2. It is a 1/2" x28 tpi.I made a tap once out of an old one (screw)by cutting 4 slots in the bottom up a 1/2" or so & squeezed it in alittle so it would start.
  3. Good ideas,we usually put the head behind the seat (upright)on the floor if they have a 4-door truck,.they fit real nice & then they can push the passenger seat back against it to keep it from moving.
  4. @BigBoreWhen you take the side cover off have you oiled on the pressure bar above the bushing,on the roller further up & then don't forget the inside of the tension adjuster @ the top of the machine. One more thing when this happens again before you push it down, check the chain from the lifter arm to the lower hole through the table, some chains catch in the hole when they are released & maybe switching ends will stop it from getting caught if this is the problem.
  5. FWIW,Alot of the first servos we got in 15 yrs ago used to be pretty loud some in the same shipment were louder than others, they claimed it had something to do that they had uneven # of windings in the coils as time progressed they seemed to get quieter. We only use the brush type now & they all seem to be real quiet.
  6. Ok,they had 3 styles of stitch length on this model,I was shooting in the dark w/o any pics so here's a ,manual that show how to adjust the length.Look @ page 13 144w103.pdf
  7. It will mark the bottom side of the leather since it is a bottom feed only ,it might sew to 3/8" leather if it's not too hard of leather.Otherwise they do hold up pretty good as long as they're oiled properly.
  8. You might try adjusting the length by turning these screws, not all machines take the spindle either, are there threads on the end of the shaft?
  9. Light duty auto-lube made for high speed sewing of thin shirts, dresses & draperies.Just has a bottom feed.
  10. Since you don't have that knob on top it might be a 145W202 here's a manual for it. 144w102.pdf
  11. You might want to check with College Sewing they are in Bury, UK & stock alot of parts too.Google them & you'll find their website.
  12. Here's the parts & oper manual,Consew was buying these from Seiko & putting their name on them,so that's why even the Consew machines parts had Seiko on them.Since we are a Consew dealer we have alot of parts in stock for them. 206RB-5oper_manual.pdf 206RBparts.pdf
  13. Collage Sewing in UK should have them, here's their website:Homepage | College Sewing Machine Parts Ltd (college-sewing.co.uk)
  14. Yes,buy it,it's a great price. All the Juki parts fit it so there's no worries about parts.
  15. I checked the speed again you can ramp it up slowly with your foot anywhere from 25 to top speed of 410
  16. The 150 is w/o a reducer, the motor will run slower with one since there's less friction. Our box style reducer has a 4:1 ratio & the speed is 15 RPM sewing 20 oz of leather on a CB341,so motor is down to 120 RPM.
  17. I got my tachometer out & the lowest speed running a machine is 150rpm with a CSM-550-1 and that's why we use them on everything. No boards to blow either.
  18. The squeaking is the plastic belt, the tight spot could be lack of oil somewhere, have you oiled everything on the needlebar end?Including the takeup lever, needlebar & all the linkages?
  19. Someone has adjusted your machine for the 134-35 needle which is a mm or so shorter. To adjust for the longer 135x17 you need to loosen the screw on the needlebar clamp that is under the face cover. If you do this be sure to have 1-hand on the screwdriver when you loosen the screw & the other one on the needlebar so it doesnt drop or you'll have more work to do.Then just raise it 1 mm or so.
  20. We have it in stock & can ship USPS 3-4days for under $5.00 for the postage & $3.00 for the screw
  21. Schmetz does make a size #21 in a 794S point & of course we have them. And the smallest 7x3 you can buy now is a#19 or #120 in metric, they quit making the #18.
