Yeah, the process did gum up the needles, so what I did was I used denatured alcohol to clean it off every few minutes. That should solve your problem

Using dyes in your leatherwork is really important. I've often found that it's the difference between a mediocre project, and a good project. Despite this, I haven't really seen a good explanation about dyes and using them in your leatherwork. Hey guys, I’m not sure about you, but when I started leatherworking, I wasn’t glueing correctly. Although it did the job, what I was doing was often sub-par, and my projects weren’t as good because of it. So, I made a video on proper gluing technique, with stuff I wish I knew when I started. Hey guys, I wanted to post about a topic I haven't really seen anywhere else, and that is aging your leather. Aging your leather is something that isn't really talked about at all, but it really should be: it gives your leather an incredible texture and color that you can't get with dye, and makes whatever you create with it so much better, and I really think it can make your projects better. Anyway, I wanted to show you guys how it's done, and show you an example of leather I've aged for a year, so I made a quick video on my channel about this, which you can check out here if you're interested.

Hey guys, as I've been peeking around the forum, I've seen that there's some confusion with regards to cutting your leather. For example, when to use an exacto knife, vs. a head knife, etc. I think proper leather cutting is very important to your leatherwork, so I made a quick video on my YouTube Channel about the basic fundamentals: when to use what tool, as well as the use of templates to cut your leather, the use of a scratch awl, and more. Hey guys, if you're interested in learning about using sandpaper in your leatherwork, I just uploaded an in-depth video about it on my YouTube Channel, so click here if you're interested. If you don't have the time to watch the video, basically, I go over how sandpaper is useful for 4 main things: cleaning up your edges, shaping your edges, smoothing out the back side of your leather, and fixing dying mistakes you have made on your leather.
