I bought a chandler dy-337 and it sews leather great. My problem is the clutch motor is too Fast for me and It’s hard for me to keep a straight line. Would a servo motor help with this or is there a foot I could buy to help guide it along? Where can I get either of those? Thanks in advance!

I just bought a chandler dy-337 and I’ve sewn 8 oz leather with it. I’m going to make a few adjustments but it does fine as far as sewing the leather and makes a nice stitch. I bought it for 300 my budget was very minimal. Check Craigslist you might be surprised.

I just bought a chandler 337 and cannot find any info on them. Will they sew 5-6 oz leather. Any info would be awesome thanks!
