Started to oil a squeaky old saddle today just to discover it has some kind of clear coat on it. When I flex the leather the cleat coat cracks. How do I get this clear stuff off? -
I I I just purchased this saddle from an elderly lady in CA, she had owned it well over 20yrs. . She can only remember that she purchased it from a makers shop in Idaho, it was used and had been the makers personal saddle. She says the maker was a women. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
