I would have thought that the symbol would have not have been used in 1940s.

saddle stamped with native symbol. fenders are tied to stirrup straps, no marking anywhere had felt instead of sheepskin. could this be early porter or some other maker in southwest? Thank you for any help

anyone have any ideas on this saddle? have had since 1970,wondering if it 1 of . or was a maker from w West Plains Mo. Well made saddle with lots of stamping. 14 in but is comfortable for adult, thinking made in 40s. thanks for any information
