  1. The centerbar are on order 200pcs coming in. I've also discussed roller type but they will be slightly more expensive and I have to order 500. Anyone seriously interested. I can discuss the estimated price via PM (because I plan to sell these retail I won't post it here).
  2. I've been paid twice for articles I've written in the Journal...nothing scammy at all: https://www.internationalleatherclub.com/international-leather-journal-volume-1-issue-5/
  3. So I got back a sample I'm happy with... no roller one yet but here's the centerbar vs the antique copper plated one I got from Weaver. I'm really impressed with the solid copper. Weaver is 1.4oz and the solid one is 4.1oz! Anyone who expressed interest PM me and we can discuss pricing and quantity.
  4. Yes I should still have one each of all those. Send me an email with your address and I'll get you a total: nstarleather@shtc.net
  5. No I'm just saying then when I google around for "Solid copper buckle made in USA", I didn't find much that fits into my pricing structure (basically one place that charges $49.95 and even reducing that by half would be a hard sell for me to use it as an add on). Same reason it's hard for me to sell watchbands...I found a USA manufacturer (same one who makes for all the big companies Shinola, Tanner, Etc) but even using my leather, the price I'd have to charge for a band would have been substantially more than I charge for a belt. It's hard to get people to pay $70 for a watchband when my belts start at $57. It's just the psychology of it... EDIT: Also if anyone knows somebody who's making and wholesaling solid copper buckles here in the USA, let me know.
  6. I wish! I haven't found any USA suppliers that are selling them for less than I sell the entire belt for. If I had higher-end items, I'd have a market for them but currently, it's a tough sell to do a $57 belt with a $40 or $50 buckle.
  7. We help our fiends and parents (this is Mike, Steve’s son)
  8. Cool hopefully I can get enough people on board or find a supplier who can do lower MOQ
  9. @AtlantisLeather I hope you find someone, If we didn't already have a backup skiver and the drive we'd have taken it all. Everyone else here, these folks are legit, we've known them for many years...I'll vouch for this being an amazing deal.
  10. Hi Folks, I'm still in early talks but I'm working with a factory to try to get some buckles made in solid copper. Currently they seem like something you can't find from the big suppliers at wholesale pricing. I'm working to get 1.5" wide but also possibly 1.25". I'm trying to get both a roller and centerbar but the roller will have a 500pc minimum to do solid copper. I'm thinking landed we will be somewhere between $8-$10 These are the two styles I'm currently looking at. The roller is two-tone at them moment but they can do soild copper if we get 500.
  11. No idea, these were purchased from another big maker who may have gone direct to Italy.
  12. I wasn't alive in '74...my apologies.
  13. Top left is Amber Harness with no pockets, the rest have one open pocket and zipper on the opposite side. Front left is a very CXL-like leather from B Tannery in the DR. On top of that is Horween Cherry Cavalier avd front right is Canoe Caviler. In back are a Deep brown and Bourbon “Glove affair” from Siedel. Bottom and in the other pictures is Horween Rookery in Black, a great feeling Veg-Tan
  14. Ahhh...the same era as "rich corinthian leather"
  15. Those are the most funny...like saying "genuine fake wood" why would you even bother?
  16. Yeah books are one of the categories where "genuine" is very unlikely to be a positive. Furniture is another
  17. Nah! He’s referring to a bit of misinformation that got posted and was wisely removed Springfield know their stuff.
  18. You should have taken a picture for Instagram... I'd love to have something to show the people who say "full grain " is the same as "full thickness" smh...
  19. I’ll just add extra pictures as comments on my own post and they get merged anyway.
  20. Unfortunately I don't know too many suppliers that would ship to you...I do sell leather (that's excess to me) but I'm primarily a manufacturer t. I know D'annonay makes nice calf leather (I get scrap from Alden of New England). Your straps look very nice...since you're talking smaller quantities hopefully someone can point to you a few European suppliers that can work with you to find something that will work.
  21. Hey quick question: where are you located? What's easily available to you especially in smaller quantities will vary incredibly based on location.
