  1. wassup man... i'm a newbie here too, still figurin out the postin thing. I live in Fairview, 30 miles west of Nashvegas. I sell cuff, belts and wares at local bike shows and the annual Tattoo conv my buddies shop puts on in th e city. I've mainly just done seats and bags and holsters for my buds. I set up a booth last weekend in Bell Buckle TN. its a HUGE craft fair, but turned out to be more 'flea market' stuff (at least were i was).. my stuff def stood out and got a lot of positive feed back so that was cool. sold enuff to cover booth an hotel.... Check with the local/area dealerships, they're always have weekend 'parties" and events. They're usually cool with dudes like us setting up in the lot. I also put thing in random store on consignment... whatever to keep it rollin.. good luck.
  2. this is awesome. great design.. my buddy's been houndin me to make him a case for his drum. been hung up on where to start. this is very inspiring... thanks..
  3. just finished this one for my buddy last night. took some advice from boomstick (thanks) on the oven trick, and i also dyed it before moulding (read that somewhere on here too). turned out ok, but more importantly, my buddy is stoked with it. for a S&W .40
  4. awesome. thanks for the link.... picked one up myself.
  5. thanks guys! the wifey is outta town tonite, so it looks like i got the "all clear" on kitchen appliances...!
  6. i made this around a the belt buckle a good friend gave me. kinda matches my tool roll. RIP IL
  7. wow. that is awesome work. Do you post up on the BT forum....? i dont' go there much anymore, but i think i met you at a SO before.... nice clean work.
  8. hey, im a lurker....this is my first post. i've been scannin this place for awhile trying not to re-ask question that have already been answered. but, Is there a "trick" to harden the holster after it has been molded, and dyed? i am fairly new to the game, just making them for buddies and myself. but i saw one i made for a friend awhile ago, and it was pretty soft with the handgun removed. the molding was still visible, and it was tight when the gun was holstered, but just curious. i thought it should be hard while empty.... this place is awesome. thanks for lettin me in. here are some pics of a few i've made recently... the last 2 pics are of a bag i made for my bike. i lined it with an old pair of camos and rivited a holster for my 1911 in the large cargo pocket.
