Howdy, I'm getting married this summer and I would like to give my groomsmen custom name belts. Specifically, I'm looking for the fairly simple vintage-y western style belts that were popular in the 70's and 80's. Oak leaves or dogwood with white lacing. See pictures below. I was hoping to not spend much over $50 per belt. I used to be able to order these from my local western shop but no one and no companies seem to be making these any more. I have found a few folks online but they are making them a bit more fancy and asking pretty steep prices. If anyone is capable and interested in this job, I am VERY serious and ready to order them! :D Thanks for your time. Rick

Hi, I'd like to give my friend something special as a wedding gift. A custom tooled browband headstall with her horse's name (5 letters) on the left cheek. This will be used as a trail headstall so it should have some conchos, but not too flashy. Her saddle is basket weave, pecan in colour. I have a photo of it. I need it complete and delivered by June 29/13. Let me know what you'd want for this and maybe a link to some work you've done. This is a wedding gift for my best friend, so experienced leather workers only please. Thanks.

Seat finally complete. About 15-20 hours of lacing. Designed off my last name and family crest. All comments welcome. Thanks for looking. There is some amazing work being posted lately! Good job by all.

Hey Folks, Just thought I would share a few pics of recent projects that I have gotten back from clients. This month also marked a new addition to my line-up: custom embroidery. Was introduced by one of my corporate clients to their embroidery vendor so I'm now adding that to the list of offerings. Also came across a site that does custom gremlin bells and line 20 snap heads, some of which I have never seen before like the WillyG skulls on the tank bib. Enjoy! ~Chris 2010 Harley FLHX rear fender bib 2010 Harley FLSTF "FTW" rear fender bib (custom fit for LePera seat & 9" rear fender) 2000 Harley FXDX custom tank bib with 12mm chrome spots and 3/4" WillyG skulls 2006 Harley FXDi35 Anniversary Edition rear fender bib - the embroidery has to be done on 3/4oz chrome tanned petite calf or goat so I married it with the 6oz H.O. bib body with a raised inlay. The contrast of textures made for a cool combination when finished. 2010 Harley FLSTF rear fender bib - this client sent me pics and drawings of his factory seat and asked that I design a bib to match all of the aspects, texture, lacing ribs, etc. Was quite a bit of work but came out nicely I think.

Hello everyone. I joined Leatherworker just over a year ago. I became interested in leather working because I wanted to use leather on some of my custom bicycle parts that I make. I initially joined because I wanted to be able to see the photos everyone posted. I quickly realized that there was a lot more to leather working than I had initially thought. Needless to say I now have another hobby. I customize and modify mostly cruiser style bicycles. I also make new parts for them. And I am glad that I can fuse that passion with this incredibly versatile material called leather. I would like to thank anyone who has posted something on these forums. This was my sole source of info that I used to educate myself in this hobby. I feel it is only right to give back what I have received though your generous contributions, and so I look forward to posting what I have done and learned thus far.

Hello everyone, I haven't been on much at all over the past year, as we have been dealing with family medical issues, and I haven't done much leatherwork during that time, either. This past weekend I had a guy who lives down the road a bit ask me to make him a sheath for one of his JK Handmade Knives that was a one-off design. Here is how it turned out--I don't think it's too shabby for me being out of practice!
