Hi, I was browsing on the internet and saw something like this and thought it would be a good idea to make something with this kind of buckle closure. But I have no idea what it is called and can't seem to be able to describe it well enough for google to come up with anything similar. Does anyone know what it is called and where I can get these? I am in UK.

Going out of business sale - 1 large lot of solid brass hardware to include all the items shown in the attached picture and listed in the pdf file attached. I will sell the entire lot for $95 plus shipping, flat rate USPS $12.65. The lot is valued at current wholesale prices to be $187, plus shipping. Sorry, no international shipping. And, no separating the items. It must be sold all together. Take all or nothing. I accept Paypal. Send funds to BCL@ziplinkmail.com ********If someone can explain to me how to cut and paste the list into this editor I will gladly do it, however, I tried to cut and paste the list from Word, notepad and email, with no success. Also, I was not allowed to include the Word Doc file, for some reason. ???? But, it would allow me to include the PDF file??? Go figure. brass hdwr01.pdf

Just wondering where (besides Tandy) to hunt down some hardware. To be more specific...snaps and rivets. Line 24 snaps, glove snaps etc. I've looked online and unless I am an idiot (which is highly likely), I can't seem to find much! Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone, my name is Matt and while I usually read here more than post here, I have some nickel-plated hardware that I'd like to sell to someone who could use it. I switched over to stainless steel hardware, so I don't have a use for this anymore, but it's all perfectly good and shouldn't go to waste! I want to sell everything as one group, for a flat price of $50, including shipping to anywhere in the US only. It's probably worth twice that, so I'd say it's a deal! Here's an approximate list of everything. Also see the attached pics. 4 - bags of approx 100/ea jiffy rivets, in sm and med 11 - scissor/trigger snap clips, various sizes 1"-1.5" strap 2 - 2" o-rings 2 - 1.5" o-rings 15+ - asst d-rings 6 - 1" strap slides 10+ - rectangle loops 1.5" 10 - 5/8" center bar buckles 10+ - 1/2" center bar buckles 4 - 1.25" center bar buckles 1.5" roller buckle 1" brass buckle I'm also flexible so make me an offer if you think $50 too much.

Good morning. I have bought a building which had up until 3 years ago been operated as a leather shop. If anyone is interested in some of this, please let me know. We have just begun loading some of this stuff on eBay, but if someone in the business can use it that would be great. I am going to begin a Drop Box page with some of the pictures and will post an update shortly with that link. Thank you.

I was playing around a bit today with some cuffs. One of the things I was trying to work out is appropriate distances for putting buckles and straps on. I was wondering, are there any rules of thumb such as set back half an inch or leave an overlap of XXX? regards

I'm fairly new to the whole craft, as I only made a couple of wrist cuffs and just now a small bracelet for a tool test. Everything I have is brand new, and works like a dream. Which is a large change from back when all I had was a box cutter and a hammer. Anywho, I am still new to a few things, and was hoping maybe someone could explain how to install a Double Roller Buckle? It's for a collar, not a belt, but I guess it would matter. It seems simple, but the dual prongs are throwing me off. Any help would be appreciated. And I do hope to begin selling my works once I'm actually able to do all the fun parts besides cutting. Can cut all day, but I can't seem to burnish/slick, skive, or really much else yet. All the fun is in learning though. But yeah, if anyone could explain that, that'd be VERY appriciated. ~RedLetherPanda

This is a corset in progress. I've sewn a couple of traditional corsets, and this one is a bit of an engineering feat for me, in deciding which order things have to be done in since its not your traditional method of construction. I almost have the leather exterior done. I have a heavy cotton lining in black and white houndstooth, and it contains the bones and is waiting on a busk. I will stitch the lining to the exterior, and add a wide leather bias binding to the edges once the buckles are completed. This piece and the one I posted before this are going to be costume pieces for this years carnaval. I have one more corset to do, which will be a longer under bust piece out of heavier leather and using all rivet construction. Any tips for a riveted corset??
