  6. I have bought a building which had been operated as a leather shop. It has riveting machines, punch out machines, cutting machines, skiving machines, pretty much everything needed to manufacture horse halters, leashes. leads, etc. It has about 12 pieces of machinery, the rivet machines are by Thomson, the punch out machines are by Western, all the machinery It 1,000's of pieces of hardware (rivets, studs, caps, o-rings, d-rings, square rings, buckles in numerous sizes (brass and nickel plated),most made by a company called North &Judd. It also has 1,000's of pieces of hardward like snaps, latches, swivels, snap bolts, etc. And not to mention the 1,000's of pieces of inventory like chains for leashes, horse halters, dog collars, strips of leather which were never finished...well you get tthe idea. If anyone is interested in some of this, please let me know. We have just begun loading some of this stuff on eBay, but if someone in the business could use it, that would be better. Thank you.
  7. I have an established Etsy business with a separate standalone website and an established local wholesale clientele (Portland, OR). My business has been very successful and every year I am finding myself busier than the last. However I am also a mother of two young children (10mo and 2yr) and it is becoming apparent to me that running a business is too much for me at this time. It kills me to do it, but I am thinking that selling my business or simply liquidating my assets may be the best thing for my family at this time. It would be awesome to sell the business as-is and have an established leatherworker step in and take over for me, but I don't know if there would be any interest in an established business. That is what I am trying to gauge here. Please let me know if this is something any of you would be interested in. I have not done inventory for a while so I don't know what liquidating my stock would look like, but if you are interested let me know and I can try to get a price figured out. If you are interested please PM me and I can give you more details. I have been really well received and reviewed and simply hate to close the business altogether! Any feedback is welcome. Thanks, Nicole

  10. Artisan Toro 3000 for sale. Nothing wrong with the machine. The only reason I am selling is I would like to upgrade to Cobra Class 4. $1500 or best offer. Located in Jackson, MO (between St. Louis and Memphis)
  11. Hello Everyone, I have done a little research on hand stitchers and for things like saddle repairs (billets, rear cinchs, and general hobby work) it seems the general opinion is that the Boss is a decent machine to handle this. I have asked a few of the folks out there with old ads for one they would like to sell and it doesnt seem there are many available. If you have one, please respond and we'll work out a deal. Modified

  14. Here I have an old Champion Skiver for sale. I believe this one is a bit older than the ones Bruce has on his website. Maybe a first or second model? Bruce your input would be greatly appreciated here!!! I degreased the entire skiver and it seems that everything functions properly. I have not tried to loosen any screws though. I have run leather through it and it does work but the blade would need some sharpening before use. There are some traces of black enamel paint on the skiver. I'm asking $175.00 plus shipping. PM Me with any interest. Bruce, if you have any info on this, feel free to add to it. Frank
  15. I have a tipmann boss sewing machine and don't put it to use enough. Machine is in excellent condition with very little use. I have all the documentation and most of the attachments, including flat bed, stitch guide and a lot of other accessories I have never used. They sell brand new on sale from Tipmann for $1195 with just the base unit. I am asking $1000 including all the accessories. The only reason I am selling this machine is because I found a Skiver and would put it to much more use than the Tipmann Boss. I am willing to ship anywhere that doesn't create a hassle. Thanks for looking! feel free to call 715-271-9558 I am in Portland, Oregon
  16. I have a Consew 206rb-5 in tremendous condition and has been well maintained. I upgraded the clutch motor to a servo motor and love its performance. I would not be selling the machine if I hadn't found an artisan I like at such a great price. This machine has served me very well. Includes, table, servo motor, and all accessories. I also have an extra mechanical clutch motor I would consider sending with it. I am located in Portland OR feel free to call! 715-271-9558 item is to large to ship so I would prefer pickup only or I could deliver within 50-100 miles. This machine has provided all my needs up to currently. I am only upgrading. Still very happy with the machine! Asking price is $1000 Tony

  21. Hey there! I am selling one of my TippMann Boss Sewing Machines! This machine was used for two months and is in perfect condition! The only thing wrong with it is the gear shaft has a few missing teeth (Replacement Part $8.99) I would fix it myself but I am a father of two little ones and do not have the time. One day while working I put too much pressure on the lever and the teeth snapped off. After talking to the maker of the machine, I found out this is suppose to happen because if the teeth didnt snap off after so much pressure the entire machine would suffer due to pressure. This is a heck of deal and I am looking to get rid of it fast! Comes in original box with maunals and needles. 23. Hi all, I have a brand new (about 5 yrs old but never been used) Juki sewing machine, it isnt really a leather machine though it might be usable for that purpose. We bought it a few years ago with the intention of using it to sew industrial quilted tarps that we were involved with at the time and that never panned out so it has been sitting in storage for about 5 years now and its time to find it a new home. I know this forum is geared towards leather only but thought that someone on here with experience in industrial sewing machines might be able to provide me some direction in trying to get this thing a new home. Thanks! Justin

  25. Hello, I have inherited this Pfaff Industrial machine. As you can see in the images, the manual that came with the machine lists the Pfaff 491, 471 and 474. The machine is a Pfaff, and runs on compression from an Efka Variostop motor. The machine was running properly according to the last owner. This machine comes with the table and manual. For local pick up only. Knoxville, TN Please email brigid.ko(at)gmail.com with any questions, if you would like more images, etc. Thank you!
