I have a lightly used Cobra Class 26 for sale. Not used much because I also have a Class 4 and we use the class 4 mainly everyday. Looking to purchase another class 4, so we're looking to get rid of the class 26. Runs smoothly. Never had any issues with it. I live in Asheville, NC and am new to Leatherworker. I'm retired and have a beautifully working Singer 168W101 for sale, for pick up at my home. In downsizing a few years ago, the chain and foot pedal was misplaced, but included in the sale is the table, motor, spool holder, bobbin winder, belt and two spools of thread. Okay, sort of a short lead up. I’m new here. I’ve been looking for a used walking foot sewing machine (I know, join the club, apparently) that will work for a newbie. I think I’m looking for a machine for light to medium duty leather work for bags, and small goods in vegan and chrome tan leather. But I don’t think I’m ready to go whole hog and get a new $2-4,000 machine. Live been looking at both flatbed and cylinder arm machines such as the conservative and Juki types but I think I’d like to start on a used machine such as the Pfaff flatbed 1245, 545, or the cylinder 335. So I finally found one available for around $1000 but I think it’s missing a grease housing cover in the craigslist photos so I ended up finding a machine diagram, then a parts list, and then a website that has parts for a reasonable price. Impressive. Great find. But knowing I can replace many of these parts at all is a boon on a machine that’s likely as old as I am! This machine (Consew 2050) has been in my home for 7 months and I have used it all of 5 hours, might be less. I purchased this machine brand new, had it delivered to my smoke free home and purchased different gadgets to make sewing easy. I'm selling my Cobra NP-4 skiver with servo motor, including table with wheels for $1,000 or best offer. I would keep it but unfortunately, I need to make room in my already-too-small apartment for the upcoming arrival of our first son. I've only used the skiver 3 or 4 times, for a total of less than 1-2 hours, so it's practically new and pretty quiet. I have the original box it came in as well. Pickup only in San Francisco. -
I bout the machine "like new" last March, and it still is...I used it only twice to practice stitching a belt, but then life kinda got hectic and never got around to using it again. Then, from Texas, I moved to Alabama and the machine has been stored this whole time...and yes, It is fully assembled, you can see it run and test it out before purchase. I bought this from Weaver a month ago and unfortunately it isn't what I need to do the job. It has maybe 40 clicks total on it. Literally got it out of the box, set it up, clicked and realized it isn't going to do it - what I'm cutting is way too narrow and the die won't eject the slugs. So, my loss is your gain. It's all back in the box and ready to ship. You basically get a like new clicker with all the original stuff that came with it. I did mount a back stop on the clicking pad to align my work, so there are 4 very small holes (less than 1/8" diameter each). How does $900 plus actual shipping costs sound? Used No. 9 Luberto Harness Stitcher. This machine is in working order with no problems. It has been maintained properly. It comes with an operator's manual, needles, spool of thread, three bobbins, stand, motor, thread stand, stirrup plate, flat plate, thread snips and oil can. The bearings have been replaced within the last year. This machine has been my only machine that I have used in my custom saddle and tack shop and it can stitch through just about anything. Hey y'all..I have a Sailrite LS-1 for sale in excellent condition.. This is a straight stitch machine. It also has the heavy duty table sold on www.sailrite.com as well. I am very new to the world of sewing, however my wife is quite proficient at it, so much so that she's very limited by her consumer grade machine. I have been searching for quite some time and came across a Juki LU-563 for $650. It's a few hours away from me so I had some photos sent to me and I have been told it is in good running condition. What do you think for the price listed? What's up with the stuff on the right of the sewing needle??? Judging by the photos what should I look out for? Please let me know what you think as soon as possible, if this is a good deal I plan on picking it up in the next day or two.
