I'need a manual for this machine. It is complete, and should sew. It remains un-identified. There is a stamping on a boss that says SWISS MADE. It has a serial number. There is an obscure stamping that reads: F-52 My big problem is thread routing. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED, THANKS!!!!

Hey guys! I’ve got another few questions for you. Last post I did I was asking about buying the Juki lu 563. I picked it up and got a new servo motor for it. So I tried sewing so,e projects but the stitching wasn’t turning out the was I though. Yes I’m new at this so it most likely is my shakey hands that are messing everything up but I still wanted to check the machine over to make sure everything is turned. My biggest issue is the stitch length isn’t set properly. I can only get 5per inch or like 12 per inch. Also when I reverse stitch, it does it in much smaller lengths and puts even more holes in my leather. I followed the video in all of the adjustments but I couldn’t get it to work much better. This is leads me to my questions. How would I adjust the switch length? (When I set it to 4 per inch it doesn’t currently do 4 per inch. More like 5 or 6) how can I adjust the reverse stitch length. Is it normal for my dogging foot to be rubbing abit against the plate under the presser foot? thanks for your help in advance. P.s. I wrote this late at nigh off of little sleep, hope it makes sense.

I purchased a Consew 118 and it won't stitch. It's obvious from cleaning and observation that the needle is very deep when the hook passes above the needle. I have the operator guide but not the service manual. It's obvious I need to adjust the needle bar height and timing but I cannot find any documentation. Plus, I can't even locate the screws to adjust the hook timing, it appears to be one factory assembled unit. Can anyone guide me to a service manual, or video, or share any information to help me adjust the needle bar and timing for a Consew 118? Thank you very much for your help. Mark in Colorado. PS: One picture shows how deep the needle is and the hook is at the very top where the uppper notch is. The other picture shows the back of the hook assembly where I thought I would find the timing screws, but there are none. thanks again.

Hello, I have an Adler 30-10 that has a death grip on the upper thread. The plates DO separate when the lift lever is up and a tiny amount of thread is pulled from the spool when the needle is going into material, but when it lifts up the plates are so firmly locked down that the thread is simply over-pulled for the take up lever to rise without making a pop sound. I've read through all the posts and done all the recommended settings but even when the upper tension screw is almost undone the plates don't release enough for the thread to ease through the plates enough at highest lever rise. This high tension is causing the material to gather up and makes the bobbin thread lie flat on top of the stitch. Could someone post a picture of the adjustment area so I can maybe get those plates to give up thread at the right time? Thanks to all for their knowledge and hopefully I can get a good stitch from this machine very soon.

Is there a rule of thumb on a Singer 45 for determining when a rubber v-belt is adjusted properly? A search of this forum found nothing. Thank you.

My Consew 206RB-2 with clutch motor seems to have too much play in the clutch before engaging. I'd like to shorten the movement required to engage the clutch, and I'm pretty sure that is something that is possible. I'm just not sure how to do it. I seem to remember reading something about just adjusting a bolt on the motor, and I even see a bolt below & to the left of the pulley that seems like a likely candidate. I'm just not sure though, and I don't want to mess something up if I'm wrong. Hopefully someone here could give me some help with this?

I'm trying to get my 441 clone to have an accurate stitch length and sew in the same holes backwards and forwards. It only does this for some lengths. I understand how to make the adjustment, but I'm curious as to what the correct position for the stitch length lever is at the zero point. Should the middle of the lever align with the mark, or should the top of the lever? The lever is pretty chunky and imprecise but I'd like to be able to accurately set a specific stitch length so I can pattern things so the stitches end up exactly at the corners. This also applies to the max stitch length end, what part of the bar should align with the 11mm mark? Is this correct Or this: Thanks. -
How do you change the sttich legnth for consew 229. I read in the instruction similar to singer 111. To push and hold the plunger to lock the notch and keep truning the pulley in the machine. I just found out that the old machine I bought has no plunger to lock it. Can I use any metal or screw driver to stock it to the notch? Kinda scary when you are not sure what it is . The pulley that in the manual, is that the hand wheel of the sewing machine? I bought this machine and the guy I bought from never told me about it and I never think of asking cause I presume that would not be a problem.. attach is the pic.
