Here’s one of my latest orders. Client wanted a pink coffin shaped card holder with a pocket in the middle. I threw in the keychain as a gift. Leather is La Perla Azzurra Dakota in Barbie color from district leather supply. Saddle stitched with .55 waxed carriage natural hemp thread. Edges are finished with uniters heatable edge paint. thanks for looking -
One of my most recent customer projects 6 slot card holder in burgundy buttero. Fully lined inner pocket with turned edge. Hand stitched with burgundy waxed linen thread spaced at 3.38mm..edge paint is fenice burgundy. comments and critiques always welcome =) thanks for looking!!

Hi all, I’m curious to know if there’s much of an established market/style for minimalist wallets or cardholders for women? most of the products I’ve seen from leather workers, especially on Instagram, are fairly “masculine”. Even then I’m not entirely sure what about them makes them seem masculine, or what would define a feminine one. curious for your thoughts and ideas. cheers M

Hi friends I have got a question and feel super stupid about it. Truth is, is that I'm just not good with 'seeing' how something works or goes together until somebody really shows me. So; Looking at this photo - why does the card in the back not fall down and slide behind the card in the front... I first thought it would be separate compartments with a stitched line at the bottom that we can't see, but I've looked closely - we are looking at 1 singular piece of leather that has two slits cut in it and gets stitched onto the back panel. Maybe it's lined? If so - how does one do this properly? How does this work, I want to make this so badly but even something this simple makes me struggle which is quite discouraging Thanks!

I've been tinkering with my Landis splitter trying to get it to split soft French goat. It's hit or miss but it worked well enough yesterday to do a fully lined 3 pocket cardholder. I hand skived the alligator to thin it down some and lined them with the .5mm blue goat. The larger blue goat pieces are split and lined with gray Split French goat from Talas Online. It's saddle stitched with Lin Cable, pricked with a Blanchard 9 iron. Edges are painted with Fenice. It measures 4.25 x 2.75. -
Greetings from the Czech republic. The order from the Deco-cuir arrived, so I tried new leather (magahony a blue chevre - both veg-tanned) and a linen thread on a new simple card holder. Edges are still not good enough. Maybe it is time to try some edge paint. Tell me what you think about it and I will be happy for every suggestion for improvement.

Hi folks, Just few of many updates for a last month. One of my favourite keyring so far is this cute 3D turtle. I was made of aniline goat skin in brown colour, hand drawn turtle shell and eyes, also a high gloss finish on the edge, to make it more female attractive. Also few bifold card holders were done. They are still quite popular due to gold calf skin lining, which looks just stunning. I am a fan of contrast stitching, but still have to complete orders with a monotone thread colour to match the colour of the skin. Shown bifold wallets are made of lizard, bull frog, and water snake skins. I was surprised with a bull frog skin. It is very thin, same as snake skin, but extremely durable. I will keep posting updates and pictures from my studio, just need a bit more time -

Hi everyone, Here are a couple pictures of my first projects as my introduction to the forum. First one is a guitar strap i made for my friend. Trying to make look mostly vintage styling.
