Hi there, I love the hardware on this old leather bag I have, but have not been able to find anything similar. Antique drawer pulls were too long, Chicago screws are too small. I'm looking for this size, about 15/16" across, to use as the closure to some new handbags. Any ideas of where I might find this or something similar? It seems like all hardware companies have the same stock.
I am on the hunt for the screw that attaches the Lift Bracket Link # 91-08 021-11 on a Pfaff 545 H4. I have come up with 2 different #'s for the screw. 91-000 237-25 and another place I come up with a number of 91-000 237-15. Does anyone have a couple of these screws they would be interested in selling or can anyone give me the correct size if they are available at a hardware store. Thanks for any help. Ken
I acquired a very decent Blanchard Paris gauge, probably between WWI and WWII. However, it has been in the hands of a very awful person who treated it extremely bad. One damage I couldn't yet solve are the screws. It has two eyelet screws with a diameter of 6.59 mm which is probably 1/4 inch.Do you guys have an idea where I get two of those screws???
I've just acquired a Singer 29-4 Cobbler's Treadle Sewing Machine. I love it. But I have a problem, no screws to hold the head to the treadle base. I've purchased some screws from the hardware store, 6-32 and 8-32's but they do not work. Threads are different. I've tried what I thought might work, out of an abundance of screws I have around my shop. Does anyone have any idea what size these screws are? I figure somewhere around a 3/16ths fine but I'm not sure. It would be awesome if someone had some that I could get from them I would gladly pay. I'd really like to keep this machine as close to original as possible. It's a 1908 model and works beautifully.
