Interesting way to recycle old boots

I look forward to seeing the finished bag

I must say, you do have the 'creators eye' to see what can be made out of these other items

PS; that facey thingy holding the knife up scares me! Heeeerrreee's Johnny!

That is a cool recycle project.

Of course after viewing the finished bag pic my brain went straight to corset or chest plate.  don't mind me....

STOP it.  Now you are giving me ideas

I made a chest rig for AK mags last week.

Here is a picture,  Be advised,   I had to get creative  using the word ''magazine''  when posted on fakebook

Was able to do a little work on this bag.

Started out on the sides, used a baseball stitch, then cut that out and used a saddle stitch

The inside of the purse is removeable it attaches to the 2 boot straps you use to pull your boot on.

The inner piece  has a  10'' x 7'' x 2'' zippered pouch

a 5 '' x 7'' check book pouch

4- cre4dit cartd slots that will hold 4 cards each

2 round key ring holders

The back of the pouch has a 1 1/2''' strip of leather riveted this is for a holster to clip onto,

2'' gusset made from goat

Straps are next,  then I will tighten up a few ;loose ends

Pretty ingenious, Frodo.  Never seen such.  Great idea.  Also love the magazine holders.
