Sap/blackjack, sleep aid

Been seeing a lot of saps/blackjacks Post in various groups, and even groups dedicated to the one hitter quitters. Up until a couple years ago, any weapon or what the police call a weapon would get you a free vacation in the county jail, in some cases the penitentiary. Nowadays, we can open carry surface to air missiles If we want. Anyway I thought I’d try and make me a sap using an American snapping turtle tail. Came out ok for my first attempt. The spikes on the tail are gonna leave a mark. If there’s anything that can be done better I’d appreciate some pointers, good and bad. Thanks in advance.

My suggestion would be to get rid of all the clutter in the background so we can see your work.

What did you use for weight and how much is there?  I also wonder how you would do getting it out of your pocket.  Cool project though, regardless!

You've put up some other work but its hard to see it clearly with a cluttered background. All you need is a piece of cardboard, from a big box. Photo your work with that under & behind it

sorry I really cant see it well enough to tell what it is. I put my work on a plain towel or a piece of wood ,something with a plain background
