smallkoala Report post Posted August 5, 2022 Are Goldstar grommets differently sized than other grommets? I'm completely baffled by what I'm finding. I have a bunch of size 00 (3/16") grommets from two different sellers; the measurements are: Eyelet: 3/16" (4.75mm) Outside Width: 7/16" (11mm) (like these grommets from The Buckle Guy) I recently decided to buy a goldstar press and the 3/16" die setter in order to stop hammering. None of my 00 grommets fit inside their press, and according to their website a 00 grommet has an outer diameter of 9mm. Are they making nonstandard grommet sizing?
