First sheath that survived the scrap bin

Recommended Posts

and it is nothing special except I did this one a good while back ( one of my first ) . My daughter had a local maker do a knife for me and because I had told her I was about to start messing with some leather , she didn't require a sheath with it .  I look at it with some pride but mostly sadness as the knife maker who had been a lifelong friend has since left this world . He did great blacksmithing work and  would help anybody any time !!!  I sure do miss that ole boy .

any way I have improved a little since this one , not much maybe but some

You are blessed to have a little bit of your friend still with you , as long as you have that beautiful knife.
